Just One Vote

How many times have you heard someone say, I'm only one vote, what difference will that make?

Multiple races in the local elections this weekend were decided by just that. ONE VOTE! What if that person decided to stay home?

    I still prefer "If voting really changed anything, they'd outlaw it..." :P

    I've voted for every election since I turned 18, including the most recent one for the local school board.

    Here in Rowlett, we have 60K residents, we had less than 2K turn out for elections, early voting and election day combined... I am totally embarrassed by this...

    Actually what's more embarrassing is you get higher voter turnout for crap like "American Idol".
