Marie Rose Hujar Kochan. 3/25/29-11/27/11

May you finally rest in peace. There are those of us who had the honor of calling you Mom! I miss you already yet am glad you are now at rest with Dad.

I still remember this picture and day it was taken. We were on our way back form a doctors appointment for me and the rabbit along with a guy in a station wagon were parked in the Dairy Queen parking lot on South Lamar. We stopped for ice cream and got pictures that he shot with his pinhole camera and then developed in the darkbox he had in the back of his wagon. I will always remember this and so much more. I Love You Mom!

  1. My condolences and sympathy for your loss. I would guess, form how you wrote that ' may you finally rest in peace' that your mom suffered for some time before passing on. If so, her suffering is over and maybe you can find some comfort in that. Your mom, you and yours, are in my thoughts and prayers and I wish you peaceful solace at this trying time.

    All the best,
    Glenn B

  2. Thanks Glenn, She has been suffering from Parkinson and Alzheimer and has been slowly deteriorating.

  3. Sorry for your loss. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

If there is anything we can do, let me know.
I've been there this year with my mom.

  4. What a delightful creature she must have been - that rabbit photo shows a woman of great spirit and she must have been a wonderful person. I saw your mention of your mother's passing over at Tractor Tracks, and I was grieved to hear of your family's sadness, but happy to hear your lovely folks are reunited at last. May you and your family be comforted, and thanks for sharing this photo that made me smile and cry. Bless you.
